Jeff Marois - Co-Founder & CEO
Jeff holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University and an MBA from INSEAD. After growing up in Paris and spending 11 years studying and working as a web developer in the US, Jeff worked in London at Last.fm where he was in charge of product for artists and labels. Jeff designed, developed and launched Last.fm's Artist Royalty Program which allows unsigned bands to collect streaming royalties directly from Last.fm.
In January 2009, Jeff joined MXP4 as VP of Business Development. During his time there, Jeff set up partnerships with Universal, Warner, Sony, EMI, Beggars, Ministry of Sound and artists such as Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, P!nk, Basement Jaxx and Passion Pit. Jeff also setup ad campaigns with Last.fm, Starburst, Diesel and Raymond Weil
Tuhin Roy - Co-Founder
Tuhin founded the Digital Rights Agency, a digital distribution company whose partners included Apple, Microsoft, Verizon and Amazon.com. Through a series of mergers, the company is now known as the Orchard. He served in various senior management positions and on the company's public company board of directors, helping build the company to $50+M in revenue.
In addition to his role at Fanzy, Tuhin is currently an adviser to start-ups including BuzzDeck, a social analytics platform, Fanity, a celebrity news aggregator and BlueEyes, an interior mapping and guidance applications developer. He is also on the investment advisory board of PiNK, a Paris-based seed stage investment fund.
Previously, he co-founded Echo Networks, a social Internet radio service, which was acquired by a joint venture of Virgin Entertainment Group, Best Buy and Borders Group. Tuhin has also served as a consultant to Pandora and on the board of directors of the Digital Media Association, whose members include MTV Networks, Microsoft, YouTube and Real Networks. Tuhin holds a BA from U.C. Berkeley and a JD from U.C. Hastings and practiced in the corporate finance group at Silicon Valley law firm Perkins Coie LLP.
